Instead of pushing thoughts away just notice with patience and kindness. Observe how they come and go, how thoughts of people and things that are nowhere near suddenly appear, how strong emotions arise from mere air. Watch and gently let go. Just thoughts. Breathe. Just thoughts.

Lovely tweet Jason. Seeing thinking as “Just thoughts” is such a profoundly liberating shift. I’m grateful to have started to know that as an experience too (rather than just a concept). Doesn’t mean I don’t constantly forget it tho
