In meditation we practice being present. It’s not easy. We’re programmed to bounce between memories and projections, past and future, hope and fear. As we practice being present to this moment, we find it may not be perfect, but it is okay. And slowly we find that we’re okay too.

I find I am able to hold presence during meditation but in fairness, that's a controlled environment. Do you have any suggestions for maintaining presence while at work say, around people? I seem to get caught up in my head when in conversation.

Hi Morgan. For me a key has been not making this moment wrong, or believing it’s not it too. Noticing you’re caught up in your head is also a moment of presence. You’ve noticed what it’s like to be you right now. From there we just keep noticing and noticing ... Big hugs - Jason
