So players that unsub get rewarded while people that have stayed faithful to the game get nothing. Seems fair.

Got this on my NA account still stuck on WoD so its not that useful tbh would have been great if it was a Legion upgrade for unsub people not game time then free time for subbed people would seem more fair

Yea, it's just that feelling that you get "rewarded" for returning if you unsub... but coninuous being subbed für ~10yrs is just more or less... your own fault. ;) Loyalty should just be rewarded in any way. Even just one day would be a sign of sorts.

Subbed in March '05. Made a lot of friends, met my partner through WoW... Still have a lot of fun playing it. Got a whisper from Bashiok once, before he started working on DiabloIII, congratulating me for having one of the oldest Battlenet accounts. It's all good by me! =)
