Same with Thorgast. I don't have even one (1) Legendary, because I stil haven't got the 1250 soul ash from that first quest... 
Feels boring and unrewarding to go there.

Yeah, not sure why end-game zones need to be ugly, unrewarding and stagnant. Shouldn't we want to go there? )

Thematically the Maw isn't supposed to be a nice place, hence "The Maw" Aren't supposed to be there all day either(See the eye of the jailer system).
