I feel you. Unlike most things, the new world rare have been popping up for me even after I've killed them. I now go through the line and try to get them all in one go. So I don't have to worry about it later.

you need the addon that tracks everything you've done on your alts. you can customize the settings to what you need to do on each. i forget exactly what it's called but method/altoholic something along those lines. it was great when i had to do 4 split runs a week.
