Considering that the people like Tyrande and Genn greymane aren't in good terms with the Horde and other random flavor text. Yeah its inline, not everyone is convinced the eternal AvH struggle is over.

What about the High King Anduin then, who wants to "break the cycle" and fights "For Azeroth!"? Shouldn't the High Kings word and intentions weigh more than those of racial leaders?

His word can't stop people from having their own thoughts and not feel truly united. Anduin already knows Tyrande isn't happy about this union.

Sure. But if he'd want peace... - I mean what a High King is he if no one listens to him?
But hey, if next time Blizz comes up with a (stupid?) reason for the next war the Alliance for once is the aggressor... I'd be at least a little happy.1 odpowiedź 0 podanych dalej 0 polubionych -
No the Alliance doesn't and shouldn't be the aggressor. Anduin can't make people see his way. All the comments I mentioned is basically saying Blizzard is very aware of the skepticism of the playerbase. No leader can force their followers to 100% go with them 24/7

I sure don't have problems with conflicts; especially internal conflicts within the Alliance. But Tyrande & Genn being all about vengence and disrespecting the High King's intentions imo is no "good" reason for all of the Alliance to not want peace for once, to break the cycle.

I am not going to enjoy doing Horde Warchief gone bad but BLUE chapter 3, it just redirects a problem to a different side. Second, its not a widespread feeling about the peace, some random npcs are skeptical some are just accepting the new status quo. At least Tyrande is 1/2

not just suddenly "Oh ok....peace with the Horde then." That would just be way too weird for me.

I never said she should be - just that Anduin should be the one making decisions for the Alliance and not she & Genn. Anduin clearly wants some kind of peace and then there'd be conflicts which is totally fine! Also, some random NPC says exactly what Blizzard wants them (1/2)

to say. If Blizz just WANTED to go in the direction of peace, those random NPC could just as good be happy that the whole faction war finally might be kind of over for once and some sort of pece comes around (at least for awhile). But they don't. So those rnd NPC are sceptical

And I have to go to bed now.
Can't make every player happy - some want some kind of crossfaction peace, some don't. That's life. :)
