We (that is the "crossfaction guild" I RP in) do that too, using a crossfaction battlenet community with some (5 I think?) separate channels for RP and OOC communication :)

Kind of! We mostly use the Elixir of Tongues. Which is an item you can get in dalaran sewers for like, 28g and lets you talk cross faction for an hour. Not only that, but also allows you to see TRP3 profiles, /e and /s, and everything.
