Maybe because your earrings are below level 29? Aetheryte earrings are a pain to glamour for example.
HELP! GLAMOUR EMERGENCY!!1 Sunstone Earrings won't glamour and I don't know why. It says "All Classes" and Lv. 29 (she's 53) - but they won't show when applying the glamour plate. 
Anyone had this? Do you know why this happens?

The important factor is the level requirement for the earrings themselves. Can't glamour a level 60 set over a level 10 set.
