I would start fresh and go Loremaster to get the best bang for your buck. The two go hand in hand after all! That way you can also eliminate pollution from past activities on a character too!
Thinking about starting a reputation completion thingy. 
As I'm somewhat lazy I'd pick a human. How would you go for it?
* Create a new character and start all over again?
* Pick the character that has most reputation progreass already?
