Great article but I'm less convinced that the enormity of the deep state's crimes implies that they are toast. Especially after witnessing Tom Cotton, who's one of the better GOPers, ask
@jack and FB to censor@wikileaks because, you know, the IC says Assange gets paid in rubles.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

You're too optimistic Reb. lol. The main problem is that the left was successful in imposing much of its moral / historical framework on the rest of society, and this would not have been possible without the capitulation of the conservative movement.
-
As Paul Gottfried notes, Martin Luther King Jr. is the hero for current conservatives, and Karl Marx sounds like much more of a true conservative than them, which is why he has as much sympathy for the conservative movement as for the Communist party. Paul Gottfried's main enemy
-
has been the conservative movement. How to change this situation? You mention Israel. A history of constant wars, conflicts and tensions with its neighbors create an environment where Israeli Jews can be unapologetic about their in-group preference and out-group hostility.
-
Also important is the narrative about Jews that the Jews themselves possess, namely that they are a historical persecuted minority who are always in danger of being exterminated by cruel and blindly hateful enemies. I think that with strong leadership, the left in Israel could
-
return to power, but they will not do so with the promise to give Israel to the Arabs. Nationalism is the operating system in Israel, as it is in Japan. How to create this in the West? I do not know. The numerous cases of gangs of Pakistani rapists in the UK certainly do not seem
-
to be enough, nor the endless list of crimes perpetrated by migrants in Germany or Sweden. Whites in South Africa are still in the mood that racism is bad. This is not to say that recent victories are no reason for some optimism, but to expect that at some point everything will
-
change because things have gone bad is fanciful. An effort to change how people think about themselves, their societies, and their history needs to be done, and if only this effort succeeds the movement will succeed. It is a difficult mountain to climb, but the future is open.
