      I’ve said this to someone else, but as a small YouTubed myself, it was never about the pay check. I was looking forward to my first one in a couple of years, it would’ve been spent on something nice to raffle off to my subscribers. Guess now they have to wait a few more years

      No, it's not about the cheque for us either, we were making about $5 a month, but it was at least not a "fuck you, your channel is no longer good enough" to make that $5 anymore, this is a slap in the face... Again

      It's never about the money, but that 5 or 10 dollars can be the difference between a person with a smaller channel being able to get that extra prop for a video, or being able to get that new camera to improve their channel. It's soooooo not right!

      I totally agree. For me it would be a new game once in a while to play for the channel and probably something small as a five away to my fans. Sucks to know ‘we’re not worth their consideration’

      Yeah, between equipment and games, hours spent and effort put in, it’s such a kick in the balls to be told now I’m suddenly not good enough, and my monetisation is revoked. Still... Now I’m going to push hard as a kind of ‘fuck you’ to them 🧐

      I'm planning on doing the same myself as I have a few words to say to youtube that are boiling at this point. We put in sweat and tears into our work, because we want to make people laugh and enjoy themselves we should be rewarded for that! #smallyoutubersmatter
