More evidence that there's no actual grassroots movement to recall DA @chesaboudin. Buying their way onto the ballot is the only path for those who want to oust Boudin 1.5 years into his term, and $277K wasn't nearly enough to qualify the recall effort.https://www.sfexaminer.com/news/first-effort-to-recall-da-boudin-fails-to-gather-required-signatures/ …

Replying to @DeanPreston @chesaboudin
Fact check #1: You can't "buy" your way onto the ballot. You still need the signatures of actual voters. Fact check #2: It's illegal to pay people to sign recall petitions.

Fact check, bribery for signatures is the name of the game, including minors with alcohol in Dolores park for signatures to recall
@chesaboudin .#StandWithChesa against the out of state republican effort to demonize our judicial system.https://twitter.com/AndyGutrz/status/1425536363118485506 …Paul added,

Haha! I love this! This is all SF'ers can do now, point out alleged crimes on social media because there's nothing left of its criminal justice system. I'd say you should call the cops, but we all know how your lawless/soulless DA feels about punishing crime. Too perfect. Cheers!
