He and 5 siblings grew up in a Yeshivish Orthodox community in Far Rockaway, Queens, and he spent 3 years studying Talmud at a yeshiva in the center of Jerusalem. Here he is at his Bar Mitzvah in 2002.

Lorenz' phrasing – “David is the man who told Jewish users…” (2) – actively insinuates that Markovich is *NOT* Jewish!
