A U.S. senator is coming to the defense of someone who spent two years calling me a “lispy queer.”
They do this because they know that @YouTube cares more about looking fair to right-wingers than it does about stopping hate speech and harassment.https://twitter.com/tedcruz/status/1136627469946183680 …

He called you a "lispy queer" once. Stop getting your panties in a bunch. Jeez. Crowder created over 400 hours of content since Feb 1, 2017 (the date your first Strikethrough vid was released). You showed us an 85 second video. That's 0.006% of his content.

"Your honor, the defendant has been a law-abiding citizen for 42 years of his life, and spent only 2 minutes of it stabbing the victim to death, which is less than like 0.0001% of his life. The defense would like the prosecution to stop getting their panties in a bunch about it"

But the prosecution claimed the defandant 'spent two years calling me a “lispy queer.”' Apart from the fact that the prosecution calls other people "queers", how is this like stabbing him to death?

The analogy was in response to the inane notion that we shouldn't care as much about an accused action because the individual wasn't performing the action for the majority of their life/career.

The argument should be.....so what he called you what you are according to what he claims to be (gay) and observation of him being lispy... Nothing wrong with that

If you really think there is "nothing wrong with this", when Maza does not exhibit any similar tit-for-tat behavior to illicit this, then we are going to fundamentally disagree.https://twitter.com/gaywonk/status/1134264395717103617 …

1:25Carlos MazaVerified account @gaywonkSince I started working at Vox, Steven Crowder has been making video after video "debunking" Strikethrough. Every single video has included repeated, overt attacks on my sexual orientation and ethnicity. Here's a sample: pic.twitter.com/UReCcQ2EljShow this thread1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

Has nothing to do with making "easily debunkable videos" The "So What" is that it violated Youtube's harassment policy, by
@TeamYoutube's own initial admission.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes
The video didnt, initially. YouTube thought a shirt he was selling said something it didnt (it said figs) Then he kept crying and only then did they demonize him..... If you are going to act like you know what happened maybe educate yourself
