"Your honor, the defendant has been a law-abiding citizen for 42 years of his life, and spent only 2 minutes of it stabbing the victim to death, which is less than like 0.0001% of his life. The defense would like the prosecution to stop getting their panties in a bunch about it"

Comparing calling a man who calls himself a queer a “lispy queer” to stabbing someone is not the same. It’s not illegal to call someone names. The guys handle is literally Gaywonk. He hides behind his identity to avoid genuine criticism. It’s cowardice disguised as victimhood.

He's accused of violating Youtube's Harassment policy, something
@TeamYoutube themselves admitted in their first round of responses. That's all it is. Also the analogy was about how no one cares about the 99.999% of the time you aren't doing what you're accused of doing.2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

Their harassment policy is purposely extremely fuzzy and that’s an understatement. It’s why other videos are getting demonitized that just show a history of the Nazi party. Max dropped a nuke on YouTube and content creators to get one guy on something anyone else would’ve let go.

If you want to build a case for other supposed violations, go right ahead. Doesn't really excuse Crowder's consistently demeaning, shitty behavior.

Crowder is first and foremost a comedian. If he gets banned for this than other comedians like Colbert would be culpable too. Comedians are always on the edge of what’s socially acceptable. It’s still not a crime. I don’t agree with his tact but YouTube shouldn’t police speech.

What's comedic about calling someone a "lispy sprite", "angry little queer", insinuating their love of chips is equivalent to their appetite for penises, etc? What boundary is being pushed exactly?

What’s comedic about this? This is a game neither side should be playing. We will all end up maimed in the end.pic.twitter.com/PBF4b4I34z

𝙎𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙀𝙜𝙖𝙣 Retweeted Kyle Griffin
https://twitter.com/kylegriffin1/status/766798785003524097 … He's talking glibly with friends about not being twitter verified. It's not directed at anyone in particular. I honestly don't see that as comparable to repeated attacks on Maza's sexual orientation and ethnicity, for no good reason other than to belittle

Wasn’t a ‘gotcha’. Just making the point that context matters. You seem to be willing to throw out the context of him being a comedian. Ppl on the other side would gladly throw out your added context as well. Point is we shouldn’t be trying to ban each other at ever turn.

I'm willing to throw out the context of him being a comedian, cause I just don't see anything comedic or 'boundary-pushing' coming from his rhetoric. As far as I can tell, it's just mean-spirited insults that we're better off not tolerating.
