Wasn't intended as an argument, given Tracey pretty flatly misrepresent's Maza's main point that it's not about asking for special protection, but asking YT to enforce their own rules when they are being violated regularly by a large content creator.

Nope. Rules don’t apply since it’s not actually harassment. He’s not sending the videos/messages to him despite being told to stop. He mocking Maza... that’s not harassment’s you don’t get to expand definition of words for your own benefit

Except their harassment policy literally states hurtful personal comments will be removed, and
@TeamYoutube literally stated the comments were hurtful, (https://twitter.com/TeamYouTube/status/1136055351885815808 …)pic.twitter.com/8FtkvaRpwG

“Hurtful”? Any criticism can be deemed hurtful, so let’s just ban criticism. Sounds fun

This is not criticism. Nice spin attempt though.https://twitter.com/gaywonk/status/1136057689585410050 …

Also mocking. Still not harassment

They are hurtful, personal comments, by
@TeamYoutube's own admission (And really any other honest person). This is exact same company that has *in-writing* that hurtful, personal comments will be removed. This is open-and-shut. I hope it's enough of an argument for you this time.1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -
Can you step outside this one instance and see this as a universal principle And then tell me that banning the ability to mock someone on the internet isn’t a scary precedent to set? Again, any criticism can be taken as hurtful.

I'm honestly not sure if you know humans can differentiate honest criticism of a notion, versus pointlessly calling someone a "gay sprite", "lispy queer", "angry little queer", etc. There is no dangerous precedent to censor unimpeachably toxic, bullying comments like these.

Yes, and Maza calls people white supremacists right and left when they aren’t. It goes both ways. I defend Mazda’s right to say it, but it falls unsolder the same category
