I was 24, full-time college student, in a mentally & physically abusive relationship. My OB just found clump of cervical cancer & said going through with pregnancy would mean complications & could possibly risk my life. I had an abortion @ 7wks. 1 in 4 women have them #youknowme
As a follow-up: I'm now 32, a full-time content creator, no longer succumbing to abusive relationships, happy and healthy. And I still am not ready for a child nor do I think I ever want to birth one myself. That's why I take precautions to avoid going through that trauma again.
Some women aren't so lucky, and will go through that same trauma or worse. No matter the reason, the choice for a woman's body should always be hers. 2nd trimester abortion is already illegal in most of the country with exceptions only for outstanding circumstances. Leave it be

It's been something I've shared before, but still felt the stigma for years. With all these crazy anti-abortion bills going around, it's imperative that I share my experience so we can help end the stigma.
