    Easy mistake to make is writing a CI job on a timer that spawns more jobs. Unchecked, it can balloon to 16 million jobs creating a DoS against your system. -

    As a large enterprise we need to collaborate with a lot of teams and go through legal review before we can submit code upstream, but it actually doesn’t take that long so that’s one the reasons we can keep contributing

    We clone the entire data warehouse for every MR so we can test changes before they go live. At some point this doesn’t scale so then teams can test a statistically significant sample of the production data. -
