Actually, as you get older time feels faster because you have experienced more time. Like 5 years to someone who is 10 years old is half of their life, but 5 years to someone who is 20 years old is only a fourth of their life.

Just like how you would rarely see a 14 year old be close friends with a 9 year old but if its a 40 and 45 year old its not a big difference.
