        Well in the cases to which the stars aren't suns, they're still have a varying level of gravitational influence to the surrounding space debris. So technically all stars can be called suns, but that wont be correct all the time.

        Yeah but are dead and others are not. When we look at them (the dead ones) , we are seeing them in the past when they are alive. In reality though they are dead.
