    Shower Thoughts‏ @TheWeirdWorld Apr 3

High school/teen movies are always about how horrible the popular kids are, because the popular kids didn’t grow up to be screenwriters.

Nobody wants to hear about the kid who has everything and no has any issues. People want to see someone who has trials like the rest of us.

lol I was never popular, but yes... all kids matter :) It would be cool to read a book where the popular kid wasn't villain-ized. Hmmm... Ideas?

I’m just kidding around. No jabs intended. ❤️ I teach high school. Mean kids come from all social groups and popular kids can be some of the nicest ones! Wasn’t Edward Cullen popular in addition to being dreamy? Or was he ostracized for being too mysterious? Hmmm #Twilight

Oh my land! JESSICA! I think Edward was too cool to be popular. He'd be all, "Whatevs, I can't talk to you or I might eat you so I shall walk away and brood." *broods*

I’ve always had this question of when asshole popular kids go see these movies, and they see the asshole popular kid characters, do they think they’re cool?

Tbh most of the bully characters are so bland and 2d no one relates to them or sees them realistically. The actual jerks irl are a bit more complicated and don't usually think they're saying something awful or have perception of any other emotion besides their own.
