    For most of human history, Vehicles had automatic collision avoidance and could even take you home when you were sleeping or drunk. Then we got rid of the horse.

        Plus those vehicles dont depreciate in value with time, instead they self produce more vehicles.

        I thought I'd test this once when I was riding two miles from home (sober). I let go the reins, relaxed my legs, and waited for the horse to take me home. He started to eat the hedge. Had I not resumed riding him I expect I'd have starved before he did...

        Are you considering repair and replacement for parts in the car? Usually, newer cars typically require "special" parts and keeping a car for years can cost a lot of money.
