we named also every sun in the universe, but not our own ;) but its because our sun and moon are the archetypes of ever sun and moon. i mean.. we call every mother and father by names, but our own we called just mum and dad ;)

sol is just the latin version of sun it makes no difference if you call ist sun, sol, sonne, soleile or what ever its like mother, muter, matre, ama, moma or what ever

Yes, but "Luna" and "Sol" is how Moon and Sun are translated in spanish, but probably you already know that
