The human race should take a three year break from making babies and sort some shit out.

We still wouldn't achieve world peace. That is the greatest failure of this century.

I remember in 5th grade my teacher told us the population was around 4billion or so! Don’t remember exactly cuz I was in fifth grade. But I’m only 49 now. So it want that long ago! And we’re closing in on 7 billion quickly!!!

But afterwards there will be a huge spike in newborns, completely devastating all government and civil structures, e.g. hospitals, schools, colleges, universities, job market etc!

A global one-child policy for 50 years would help. But really what we need is proper redistribution of resources; and end to elitism & greed. It's not that we don't have enough resources but some have too much while some have none at all!

Not enough... 10 to 15 years... they should have taken a break on 14th June 1946.... that would have been a start....

3 years? Really? It would cause issues in schools sure, but imagine the break it’d give our healthcare system

Idk about a break. maybe the nurses and workers yeah. But what about people that specialize in newborns. They'd be out of a job for at least 2 years. And the hospitals would get less money from the insurance companies cuz birth costs money obviously.

And due to less momey going into the hospital nurses amd doctors wages would go down, maybe not significantly but still go down.

Not exactly, it would help many problems and we would only be 300k people down by the time it’s over. We could sort out our problems and then continue as usual, nothing would change.
