In fact teachers should be suspended because they made classroom learning uninteresting hence students skipped classes

At that point the kids are getting exactly what they want and schools think they’re doing justice by “punishing” the student

Nope, the best punishment for that would be Saturday School!

You're not thinking about the poor porfesors :(
-
You're right I wasn't I was thinking about how much I hated the one time I had Saturday School in High School. It worked for me, I don't remember what I did to earn that Satutday School but I do know I never did it again.

What we forget is that a school was never meant to be an institution for babysitting which is what it’s become. Teachers deal with misbehavior more than teaching a lesson, children go to school not knowing the appropriate way to interact with others, a reflection of home life.

It’s not a punishment for the child but actually for the parent who has to make arrangements with work and deal with their child’s misbehavior.

When i was in school, they made you do an internal suspension which was you had to stay in the office all day at a desk in a room with no window and they would give you wotk from the classes yiu had that day
-
My high school tried that and called in "In House Suspension" except no one got any work from their classes, we just sat in a room all day from 8-3 no breakfast or lunch either.
-
Pretty sure denying them breakfast or lunch would be a crime

-
I highly doubt our school cared

It's basically the thing with parents going, "You're grounded!" And them not taking away your gadgets. Seems good to me.

True, because frankly speaking no student, who is willing to commit an act of disobedience, really fears punishment just as fire, willing to burn an entire forest, really fears fire.

That's why they do in-school suspensions and no they aren't as fun as staying at home.
