        You never know...it’s possible. Other life forms may live in a world completely different in composition and functionality than us. For example, it’s possible that Silicon may be the basic building blocks for exoplanet life forms, instead of Carbon.

        Not really... our understanding is that life needs liquid water because of its cool properties of dissolving stuff in the long term, helping chemical reactions and forming a less dense crystal when in solid form

        Then again our bodies have adapted to using water as a solvent....it's not completely impossible that another organism can adapt to using a different solvent eg methane in a methane rich planet or moon.

        Im not talking about our bodies, its just that water is the best molecule with all these characteristics Also, solid methane is denser than liquid, opposed to water, and can only be solid up to 90K, which is way too cold
