I got marked wrong on a math test because I factored (x-4)^2 as (x-2)(x+2) instead of (x+2)(x-2)

I remember in 3rd grade my teacher said I was pronouncing capillaries wrong and it should be pronounced cap-PILL-aries. 3 years later I learned that I was right before she corrected me and I’ve never trusted teachers fully ever since.
