technically not true. A person that has a negative view of the future can become depressed because of what they perceive will be the future. And anxiety can stem from past events causing present issues.

gosh everyone on the internet is so picky with their technicalities

-
Well it is just misinformation that actually could be harmful say to somebody who is depressed but not about the past. And for some who suffer with depression it might not be about the future or the past just chemically something they struggle with.
-
People will have to stop being triggered by everything at some point. It's the internet, we're on a shower thoughts account. As someone who has diagnosed chronic depression I say get treatment because if a tweet sets you off there's a bigger problem.
-
Very true that it shouldn't be enough to set you off. I just didn't think the tweet though was well thought out. Depression/Anxiety are two huge issues that can't be summed up in a quick tweet.

What if I'm depressed about my anxiety?
