You mean wifi name and not password

-
No, they mean password

-
But if they know the password, what's the point? Most purple would try the words after they couldn't make it work otherwise. Am I just a weirdo? NM, I know the answer
-
Why are they asking for the password if they know it

-
The person told them it is a long, all lowercase, sequence of letters. That doesn't imply it's on the fridge, it implies that sequence of uninterrupted words is the password itself. Just saying this particular joke doesn't make sense. Woulda made more sense if spaces were there.
-
When they ask what the password is you say it's on the fridge...and they'll go to see if u put it on the fridge but it's literally the pw
-
Ohhhh thanks for explaining
I didnt get it at first

Especially since it's all one word and lowercase, heavily implying it's the actual password. Rare miss for this account.
-
When a guest asks you for the password and you reply 'itsonthefridge', they will misunderstand and head for the fridge!

-
I wouldn't; it's all lowercase without spaces, implying that sequence of words is the password itself. Tech life. The joke woulda made mote sense with spaces; that's ACTUALLY misleading.
-
It's not lowercase without spaces if you're replying to them verbally haha!
-
The way it was typed didn't make it seem like a verbal exchange, but it definitely works verbally.
-
Yeah I think that's what they were getting at

-
Makes sense, phrasing it "It's on the fridge" would have made that more clear. The Op makes it seem like a text, which makes the password seem clear. I get you tho
-
They really didn't. They said "visitors" and there's no reason to text them if they are in your house.

Me after reading the replies to the tweet. It’s not a riddle. It’s straight to the point. Password makes complete sense for talking to someone in person.pic.twitter.com/dH7ZMsciAI

You meant wifi name or SSID.
-
No it’s password. They don’t need to type in the name. They ask for the name to click on it and when they ask for the password they would have to type it out. If someone says that password they assume to look on the fridge for it.
