What about the first 38
-
That’s all of your life. Very few can change anything at that age
-
Well I’m not dead yet so it’s not all my life but thanks for the positivity.

There's a definite correlation though and for an 'average' person it's safe to say they need to do well in school

So I'm not going to always be a failure at everything I do?

I just had this conversation with my 17 yr old!
-
I wish I knew this 20 years ago. My life would have turned out better. And I have a 12 year old that I tell this to daily but she still doesn't get it.
-
We were having a convo about what profession she would choose after uni and she was limiting her choices on who she is now. I let her know that she's not her "grown up" self yet. Atleast 4 yrs of uni and life experiences will change her between now and then.
-
I'm sure I'm gonna change what I want to do throughout my life, simply because I'm interested in so many different things, so I dunno what to choose when I go to college. What do I want to do the most? It's so hard.
-
That's definitely the truth. I went to college twice, 15 years apart. It's really about finding something you love and then finding a way to earn a living through it. And not being afraid to take chances or accept challenges
-
The taking chances thing has really got me. I don't wanna fail(obviously) so I don't wanna choose something really hard but at the same time I do want to do something amazing and make myself proud
-
There's absolutely nothing wrong with failure. It's just an opportunity to learn from. You might walk away from it knowing you have more to learn or that maybe it's just not for you. Either way it helps you grow. Fear is always the hardest obstacle to overcome.
