As of 11/21/17 we are 2,517 from the last day of 2010, and we are 2,598 days from the first day of 2025, so we are not closer to the year 2025 than 2010 as of the date of this tweet.

But... you can’t go back in time so we are closer to 2025 than yesterday
-
Nathan: Not being able to go back in time has no bearing on it. We are measuring between 2 points in time. For example, we are closer to Halloween 2017 than we are July 4th 2018 even though we can't travel back in time.

Most people added and subtracted integers and thought this fact was wrong.
-
It would be wrong if you consider end of 2010 (closest point to 2010 from now) and start of 2025!
-
I guess you are right.

Unless you've got a time machine, you're ALWAYS closer to the future than to the past.

False. You can never go back to the past but you can be closer to the past besides, you f you went back in time then the past would become the current present for you.pic.twitter.com/cPAIMJcVMy

Yes and I'm sure at least 20 percent of your followers won't be alive by 2025.
