    Shower Thoughts‏ @TheWeirdWorld 16 Nov 2017

People who apologize for their poor English in posts tend to have better grammar and spelling than native English speakers.

The truth is no one really needs to apologize. You don't need to feel bad, especially if its not your first language. I hate it when people hate people who make grammatical mistakes.

If you're going to correct someone's spelling, please correct it completely, you forgot to correct the "your" which is actually stated as "you're". And correcting someone's spelling online is truly cringe-worthy. You knew what he meant, so what's the point of correcting them?

Because they tend to think somehow they’d be made fun of if something they wrote was incorrect,

I understand the concept. I'm asking what would a study or test be like to prove this.
