Wtf's a senpai ?
-
-
-
"先輩", Japanese, meaning upperclassman or referring to someone of more experience than oneself and almost always older than oneself as well.
-
Oh OK thanks
-
np. it's basically a completely inconsequential word to anyone but weebs and anime fans
-
Is a "san" an equal then?
-
"san" or "さん" is used with pretty much anyone you meet. Unlike "senpai", however, it can't be used as a noun and is merely honorific.
-
Ex: "Shmalb-san". There're a ton of other particulars I'm not going to go into but those are the basics.
-
Oh, thanks

This is dumb. Ofc u're somebody's senpai, Senpai means an older student/co-worker unless you're saying nobody's younger than you?pic.twitter.com/mGtZJ1jniE
-
In some cases it means that they are in love with you
-
No. That's a misconception.
-
In the American anime community it does. & its true that you could fall in love with Senpai in japan, it just doesn't mean that all the time

Then unfortunately for them they have some seriously low standards.
-
RIGHTTTT
-
I think I should explain. I wasn't insulting the guy, just putting myself in his shoes. I think I skipped that part.
-
