I don't know about you, but my zoo keeps endangered species from going extinct

This isn't the correct way to treat animals, endangered or not. There's no ethical reason to keep them in a cage
-
So your saying that if there is 3-4 left of a species l, we shouldn't atleast try to help?
-
You can help without closing them in a cage, but focusing resources in protecting wild animals.

the fact is, most zoos captivate endangered or close to endangered species. Because they are hunted for worth in the wild
-
I guess if someday we are an endangered specie, you'll be ok with living in a cage.
-
that's called quarantine. And it is actively used for epidemics. So yeah, I would if it ensured safety
