because pink is a different color than red... Where as Light green is just a shade of normal green.

Pink is, normally, associated with gays & women; many ppl don't wish to be miss-IDed as either.

um, no. Pink was manly & still is because it obviously takes balls to be "miss IDed." Blue was a girls' color.
