theyd still have the urge bc their body is still addicted even if they dont remember that they are obviously
-
-
-
yea but they wouldn't have he urge to smoke cigarettes because technically they have never smoked one
-
just bc they dont remember they have doesnt mean they havent. their body is still addicted
-
I get that but their body is addicted to nicotine and they don't know that cigarettes will fulfill that urge until they smoke one
-
they'd figure it out very soon. plus theyd smell smoke and realize that they own cigarettes.
-
actually, this has already happened to someone who stopped smoking because he didn't remember being a smoker
-
and just because you find out that you smoke, it doesn't mean that you stay addicted if you don't have memory of it

they would have physical withdrawal but be unaware what it is causing them the feelings so would not have an urge to smoke

I bet they would mentally forget but physically they would feel an urge for something, which would be the nicotine they had.

worked with a guy with short term memory loss. Never smoked again after he had his aneurism. No longer had the urge.
