@TheWeirdWorld@MyDogEaredLife vinyl is vibration based and perfect makes sense. CDs are a whole other realm, one I will never understand. -
@twittem Maybe it's a weird age thing. Albeit kind of backwards as one would think I would understand vinyl more than CDs -
@MyDogEaredLife vinyl is purly mechanical. Now writing data to tinfoil with a laser and reading it back? That's black magic. -
@twittem It's all about the 1's & O's on a disc. Lasers makes 'pits' to burn info & then read the bumps, convert to data code & voila! -
@MyDogEaredLife you would think so... but it's not that's simple. The more I learn about it the less I understand
