Corn isn't a vegetable, man
-
Potatoes aren't a vegetable either if we're going off of technicalities. It is a starch
-
Potatoes and corn are still in the veggie family
-
No they aren’t. Corn is in the family, Poaceae, and potatoes are in the family, Solanaceae. They are both part of the vegetable food group because they are plants, the part you eat is considered plant matter (potatoes from the roots and corn is the seeds), and they aren’t beans.
-
Who said anything about beans?
-

beans?

If you're going by something that's a root than beets, radishes and carrots aren't veggies either. But all of those are in the veggie family, along with corn and potatoes. But potatoes nutrition wise is a starch
