You can find articles from the 1920s that lamented how the Advent of newspapers on trains did the same thing to social interaction.

It's much more nuanced than that. This is definitely not a shower thought I would agree with. People generally don't want to spend a cost for an unconfident and undefined benefit of talking to people. Talking to people is a skill and costs time, energy, and most valued, comfort.

Tell that to those shot on the street and get nothing but videos taken, tell that to the kid stabbed and people around just whip out their phones, tell that to a baby hanging off the balcony and phone wielding zombies wait for an immigrant to become a Spiderman. Ya, Very annoying

It's not a condition Some people really love their phones more than their friends or families not because they want to ignore them They are just love their mobiles That's all
-
And you asked those same people and that’s the answer they gave? I really doubt that.
-
Actually No i didn't ask anybody But i can guess that it is a good answer Look at it from another side Mobile phones replaced the friends those days Even if there are a bunch of friends setting with each others you will find that they are starting at their phones Can you deny!?
-
Maybe because there are things you can do in phones with friends that you can't in real life?
-
Correct good
It's almost half the answer

Some of the people commenting don’t care to realise that most of us are talking to our friends who aren’t able to be there with us.

Yes but annoyance creates struggle, struggle builds strength and resilience as well as progress. Ever wonder why each generation has been getting more intellectually developed but weaker emotionally?Technology gives us longer lives at the cost of true growth.
