I love people saying hard work alone = success. When really it’s hard work + connections + health + accessibility + location = success

u can do it but it's a
#s game so don't spend over 30% of your income total housing costs, I don't know if that is still reasonable I gave up my Florida Mtg Banker license when they made up the housing bust in 2008 sold real estate in 2006 cause realtors in Miami inflated prices -
I didn't have to take tests more than once nor learn their stupid math stuff cause I do it in my head. It's common sense so take music theory for 8 years of piano solfeo like I did and u count lyrics Xox
-
Seriously I skipped Algebra and Geometry for what? Straight to calculus plus 4 years of French, Latin and Typing helped

My wife and I are younger than 30 and have owned a home for easily 3 years now. With our won jobs and credit score. Its called hard work. Suck it up buttercup.
-
Gaining well-being from hard work instead of leeching for help, how life should work.

Not working as a barista you ain't. Get a marketable skill.
-
Just because you have a degree doesn't mean you'll get hired. Not so sure why that's so hard for people to understand.

BS. Go work hard and smart for what you want and dont be a victim.
-
Ah, the perfect statement from someone who has zero information and lives in their own little world. Bet I can guess who you voted for.
-
Really, zero information? I grew up in a trailer and didnt want that for myself so I got out there and made it happen. I live in reality where no one gives you anything and you should expect nothing. My little world is doing great because im not waiting for something to happen.

What is decent? A $600,000 McMansion? Or a nice starter house in an average school district, building up equity and a down payment on a nicer house in a nicer district as you advance in your career? The things people want by the time they’re 25 make me scratch my head sometimes.
-
Truth....bought a starter house at 26. As the kids got bigger and wife pregnant with 3rd child we needed more space, just bought a bigger 2nd house and sold the first house at age 33.
