Exciting! In a joint Belgian-Dutch project, primary dikes have been set back to open a polder to tidal inundation. Instead of subsiding, the Hegwige- and Prosperpolder will begin to rise. It's an open canvas for nature to go to work. Thanks to for showing me around.

Incredible photo-journal article about farmers in Bangladesh turning to 200 yr old techniques to adapt to climate change. Imagine telling these folks they need to "modernize", mechanize, and get their produce to global markets in the name of development!

This is Neekas, Heiltsuk Territory. All of these salmon went into the creek, the creek dried up b/c of no rain so far this fall, and just died, and this is just one reach! Global warming is killing everything. This is such a sad scene. Video credit, Sarah Mund
