The latest Marist poll shows that 25% of self-described White Evangelical Christians say they definitely plan to vote against Trump. Somehow, I think the Democrats are going to figure out a way to push away that 25%.

That’s one big problem. They’ve been very good at that. But the bigger problem is that they’re still push-away-able. If they really understood and cared about the situation we’re all in now, they would have such a resolute No to Trump & Trumpism that they would never go back.

But that works both ways. The Democrats are sending the message that they love extremist policies on abortion more than they love the idea of defeating Trump. Which is equally hard to explain.
