Posting data that has been filtered through the lens of the organization I am criticizing and yet it still backs my claim is more meaningful & impactful than one from "ABOLISH THE COPS USA." You really need that explained to you? That graph doesn't include murder

because it reflects data for weeks in which no murders occurred. Read, THEN respond. And of course murders are meaningful but going to 45 in 2020 from 41 in 2019 while sad, is an extremely low murder rate for a major metropolitan city.

Oakland, with a 'tough on crime' DA had 100 murders in the same period.

Interesting. But the SF Chron says 48, not 45. The stats are all over the place. As can be seen, many factors influence crime, ie: COVID/quarantine/etc... has an effect. Using stats does not necessarily nullify criticisms of the SF DA's particular actions, & the consequences.

DAs function within strict, confining existing legal structure and Boudin has been in office for exactly 380 days. Crime existed long before he came into office and changing those structures is not instantaneous. These criticisms stem largely from VC-backed astroturf campaigns.

"These criticisms stem largely from VC-backed astroturf campaigns." -- I'm a venture capitalist? Where's my BMW (or Range Rover)? Ppl on Next Door, neighbors complaining about home invasions/garage breakins, are VCs? People upset about crime are all rich?

You are literally responding to my thread about the VC-backed AstroTurf campaign currently occurring on GFM, NextDoor and Twitter so yes that is what I am talking about. You are the one inserting yourself here ala a “temporarily embarrassed millionaire.”

None of these pearl clutchers were screeching from anonymous accts about Gascon and none of the VCs gave a shit enough to donate to Loftus, who was beaten resoundingly by Boudin. They mad because they might face charges ala Calcanis here (WHO LIVES IN HILLSBOROUGH!!)

Oh Gas-can had plenty of grass-roots critics too. And people have been p.o'd about crime, burglaries, ppl hurt, long before Boudin. But Boudin's policies are even worse. Based upon votes for all candidates, the intent of the people was to be tougher on crime, not Boudin's waypic.twitter.com/OZ5UF9MqAs

Lol that’s why he beat Loftus by more than 2500 votes and Gascon won in a landslide in LA. Reallllllll unpopular

Nancy Tung is very anti-Boudin, and 37000+ people supported her. Loftus got 60000. Clearly way more ppl wanted to be tougher on crime than Boudin's 68000. Face it, it's grassroots. Not a VC conspiracy. And besides lots of VC's also contribute "left". Is that wrong too?
