and, expelling a student for transitioning as a trans woman would only expose them to more physical + emotional harm. if this were to happen mid-semester, how would a trans woman—who is likely to experience violence in all forms—survive before transferring to a different school?
Morehouse can hardly handle (and support) feminine-presenting queer students. i’m eager see a more thorough + specific plan to ensure trans men’s well-being before this policy is implemented.
and, trans men and women have matriculated through Spelman and Morehouse long before they were “allowed” to. it seems obligatory + trendy for our Colleges to acknowledge the humanity of trans students that actually need more tangible support and fewer announcements.

they do, and i am terrified for how this will explicitly bring more harm to trans individuals...which is the total opposite of what we want. these schools ignore the efforts of current students/organizers and then pop out with this?! it’s literally not connecting.
