You're such a hack, Monte. And quoting a tabloid as a credible source... My goodness.

If it was true that it is one teacher per school, why did 11 teachers at my school get told yesterday there was no position for them next year. A scenario which played out at ALL schools!

Looks like not just the premier can't pass the grade 6 math test.

If the "average" increase is only 6 students per class, it works out to 24 students or a whole new class which requires significant time to mark and prep for...leaving less time to potentially coach a team or supervise a club.

All of my classes are already between 26-30 students in middle school. I teach 17 classes per cycle, over 425 kids in total.Sure add more kids and take away my EA support and expect me to be a better teacher with less.

@brianliley your argument fell apart here
"According to government documents, there will be 3,475 fewer teaching positions over the next four years."
You love to believe #Cons but try this math for 9-12 teachers: 22/28(av size)x 26/30(credits in class) = 68% retention estimateThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
