SLU service is suspended completely until the repairs are done. The streetcars cannot reverse direction and go back against traffic from where the repairs are being made.

Service alert update! crews are still working and should be done between 10 am and 12 pm. SLU service is still down until they finish.

Service Alert! SLU service is being shutdown at 9 pm tonight due to a water main break at Westlake and Denny. will be repairing the water main starting tomorrow morning resulting in service interruption. SPU may be done by mid to late afternoon tomorrow.

Just batteries! It runs approximately half of the route without using the overhead wire so that it can avoid conflicts with the trolley bus wires. When it’s on wire - most of the uphill/northbound direction - it is recharging. So, just a touch of #SeattleStreetcar magic 😉.
