Instead of a check mark or music note, you’ll now see a grey background behind verified channel names across YouTube. You’ll also see a note about the change when you hover over a verified channel name to help everyone get familiar with it.

That is both vague and asinine. You pay people to come up with these concepts? What about people who browse with different colors? The checks were clear and pronounced. You had a good system, why are you breaking it and ruining the hard work of the creators you profit from?
