I mean long-term obviously hahaha. (By the way, how great is that hotel they put you up in??? Sooo fancy. How BIG are those toilet bowls holy crap right?)

Americans have toilets designed to minimise the acoustical properties of plops dropping in water. They have this really strong taboo about bathrooms, they're so funny.
-
But yeah, I'm assuming you stayed in the same hotel. It's very very beige but it's spacious and comfortable and very close :)
-
Yeah! They put all of the other devs they invited there too when I got invited. The TV really is *crazy* comically large for the room you get. That's kinda how I figured out which company you were going to, together with seattle obviously but it was the TV that tipped me off ha.
-
65 inches and absolutely nothing on it. I've only turned it on once and then turned it off again in despair.
-
I had it on for a while on a random news channel just to see what american TV was like, pretty sure 90% of it was ads and not news, it was hilarious hahaha
-
The big thing I didn't like was the water, it tasted like pure fluoride in comparison to my home water of The Netherlands, even in all the bottled water I could find, and the shower, and all the taps...
-
Yeah the water isn't brilliant, I'm missing tea, coffee just makes me feel sick but no-one here can get water to 100 degrees so there's no choice.
-
Heh funny thing, I *actually* managed to make some sort of tea, there was a tiny kettle in my room that started spewing out boiling water after I turned it on, almost burned my hand. Tea was kind of ehh because it was "energizing" tea or something. But it was better than water.
