The title 'Scottish Secretary' is a misnomer. He's highly unlikely to stick up for Scotland or the will of the people. He's a Brexiteer and that is why he was chosen. He doesn't acknowledge Scotland as a country. He's a millionaire land owner who will shaft us.

The people expressed our will in the indyref. Since the we’ve repeatedly expressed our will by the majority voting for unionist parties in the Holyrood, local, General and EU elections. I’ve yet to see the SNP stick up for us.

In a true union of equals, major changes would be approved by all not just the biggest one. Northern Ireland voted to stay as well but that count it makes it 2-2. Still not a majority. 17.4M isn’t even half the total population, still not a majority.

That’s why it was an overall vote of “leave” or “remain” with each eligible person having one vote. Unlike elections nothing to do with geography, party, or constituency, purely the side that attracted the most votes.
