In imposter scams you may receive an email or call seemingly from a government official, family member, or friend requesting that you wire them money to pay taxes or fees, or to help someone you care about. Hang up the phone or delete if it seems off.

In a new twist on an old scam, criminals are scaring victims by telling them their child was arrested on drunken driving charges after a serious crash. They pose as the child & attorney to demand bail in cash. Victims should call their child to confirm they're safe and #HangUp.
